Newton MA:  CRG Owner Broker; Jack Foster along with Agents; Patty Greene and Amy Rubin announce a significant donation to support the Paige Farley-Hackel Memorial Playground / fundraising event now in its second year at the First Baptist Church in Newton Centre.

Newton Centre real estate executive, life-long Newton resident and music producer, Peter Hackel was “step son” to Paige Farley-Hackel who was killed aboard American Flight 11.  Peter and his family have chosen to keep the long running event (now in its 14th year) at the church where Farley-Hackel’s memorial service was held.  “Paige was like a big sister to me for over 20 years” reflects Hackel. “First Baptist worked out great last year given its beautiful indoor/outdoor flow, amazing acoustics and significant ties to Paige’s memory and we are grateful to Patty and Amy who have helped create a solid footing for this year’s event”

Patty and Amy recently helped Newton native Hackel purchase his new home in the village of Waban and in turn sell in the Highlands.  “Peter involved us in both the purchase and sale of his properties. Centre Realty Group, Amy and I were happy to help support this amazing cause. This worked perfectly with our personal philosophies and vision” says Greene.

This year’s event will be held on Friday 9/11/15 to raise funds and awareness for the playground on Wales Street in Dorchester, adjacent to the Salvation Army Children’s Centre. To learn more about Paige, the playground and for up to date event and ticket information go to or call 617-283-4051.
